Here at Copperhead Kennels we feel we have chosen our stud dogs very wisely. We have found what we feel is the best for an all purpose gun dog. We have looked at AFC, FC, DC, hunt test titled dogs, NAVHDA and some of the best titled NSTRA dogs to make sure we cover all areas of what we feel will produce your next all around gun dog, whether it be NAVHDA, NSTRA, AKC or just your perfect hunting dog. We not only want the sires to produce a great hunting dog but to be a perfect family dog with the "easy" trainability as well. Our stud dogs are OFA'd and AKC hunt tested and titled. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have on our stud dogs.
Norton's Odyssey Cruz- (10-3-08) MH, NA PZ I 112/112 and few placement in NSTRA with few runs. Cruz is a liver/white patched/ticked. He has an outstanding nose with lots of style. The training of Cruz was all so natural and easy. Cruz was broke to wing, shot, and fall at the age of 7 months, but due to a injury to his back he was not able to participate in any events. Thanks to Drs. Janet, Larry, and Jonathon Winter of Countryside Vet Clinic in Fairbury NE Cruz came out of his injury and received his MH title and placement in NSTRA. OFA rating is good and elbows normal.
Teton's Talisman-(Doc...3-10-10) MH. Doc is liver/white patched/ticked. We purchased Doc from California. When we saw him up for sale we couldn't say NO. We had a litter mate to him and lost her to a freak accident. With the ability we saw from her we knew that he would be just as good if not better. We were on the phone and Doc was then on a flight from California to Nebraska. Doc went through his SH with no problems. He is now, this spring, heading for his MH. OFA rating is good and elbows normal.
